Vision in White (Bride Quartet #1)
Summary:
Wedding photographer Mackensie "Mac" Elliot is most at home behind the camera, but her focus is shattered moments before an important wedding rehearsal when she bumps into the bride-to-be's brother...an encounter that has them both seeing stars.
A stable, safe English teacher, Carter Maguire is definitely not Mac's type. But a casual fling might be just what she needs to take her mind off bridezillas. Of course, casual flings can turn into something more when you least expect it. And Mac will have to turn to her three best friends-and business partners-to see her way to her own happy ending.(summary and book cover courtesy of goodreads.com)
Review:
This series is my favorite of the ones by Nora Roberts. Four strong women with the lifelong friendships created a thriving business to save both themselves and their beloved home. Add in some men who might just balance out each of them well and you have a fantastic romance series. Reading each of these books had me calling up my best girlfriends for a long quality catch up.
I will warn: the series is around a group of four women who do wedding planning as a living. The books definitely contain a good dose of wedding talk, so if you already have to hear that in real life, it might be a bit much!
Warning: Repeated sexual content
Rating: 4 stars!
Who Should Read It? People looking for a romance book that still has just a small dose of reality to keep it grounded.
