This book is funny and unsettling at the same time.  C.S. Lewis does a fantastic job of collectively “calling out” the reader on a multitude of mannerisms and habits that we all succumb to.  Rather than the uncle’s evil plans being around major sins (like murder), he instead identifies more subtle forces (such as distraction or insincerity).  This includes contradictions in the church and the rabidly faithful.  In sum, this book will have you both laughing out loud and squirming as you identify many things you do on a daily basis.  I’d highly recommend it as a quick read.

Who Should Read it?  Christians may get more value out of it, however all will find an interesting book that shows small ways we all veer off the course we want to follow.
