Review:

This book made me so angry.  I would say there is only one other book that had me this frustrated.  I get it, Emma is sweet and never completely gets jaded, but Dexter is an ass.  Years later, he’s still an ass.  Emma, please PLEASE wake up and move on!  Do something more with your life!

The format of the story telling was neat though and that’s what kept me going through the book.  I had no idea how the story was going to end (and I’m not sure Nicholls did either) so there was a bit of (spoiler!) tragedy thrown in there to keep it from being run-of-the mill.  I have to say though I was furious when I finished the book.  So furious, I disrupted part of a lovely vacation with my boyfriend while I sulked.  I was really hoping for some redeeming aspect at the end, but it never came.  I could rant longer, but for the sake of everyone I will restrain myself.

Rating: 1 star!

Who should read it? Go see the movie, hopefully it’s better than the book.
