Review:
“Revelation” starts out in a way that almost made me think this was going to be a young adult book, but quickly ups the ante to a full adult fantasy. As Numa, Gemynd and Soman grow up, they are soon challenged with very real conflicts and will have to make decisions that will put all their lives in jeopardy.
Hoitt quickly had me hooked and I blew through this book in just two sittings. It was refreshing to have a world that is not the default medieval land and had some very unique characteristics. As a warning, the book ends extremely open-ended. I’d almost say, don’t start this book without committing to reading at least the first two!
