The Unfortunate Decisions of Dahlia Moss
Summary:
For fans of “The Guild”, “New Girl”, “Scott Pilgrim”, “Big Bang Theory”, “Veronica Mars”, or anyone who has ever geeked out about something.
The odds of Dahlia successfully navigating adulthood are 3,720 to 1. But never tell her the odds.
Meet Dahlia Moss, the reigning queen of unfortunate decision-making in the St. Louis area. Unemployed broke, and on her last bowl of ramen, she's not living her best life. But that's all about to change.
Before Dahlia can make her life any messier on her own she's offered a job. A job that she's woefully under-qualified for. A job that will lead her to a murder, an MMORPG, and possibly a fella (or two?).
Turns out unfortunate decisions abound, and she's just the girl to deal with them. (Summary and cover courtesy of goodreads.com)

Review:
This book was awesome! It’s light, funny and totally made my days when I was reading it. It’s the perfect book for a day when you’re feeling a little blah and need a pick-me-up. Dahlia is adorably geeky and has a loveably insane roommate who kept things light when Dahlia is threatened to be consumed by angst. I didn’t figure out the ending before the end of the book so it is definitely one to keep you on your toes.
Endearing as Dahlia is, her wit and humor was right up my alley. I definitely found myself chuckling out loud a few times (rare for me). Her spunky outlook on life certainly gives life to the story and I’m glad that she didn’t end up being a wilting flower in the end or for any guy. I definitely hope that there are additional books in the future!
P.S. Most epic murder weapon ever.
Warning: Contains frequent foul language.
Rating: 5 stars!
Who should read it? Geeks, closet geeks and wannabe geeks at heart!
Want to read the whole series? None now, but I hope there will be!
