Review:

This book was FANTASTIC!! I have been hearing about “Cinder” for ages and was somewhat dreading giving it a shot since I had heard such rave reviews.  The book did not let me down, however, everything about it went beyond expectations.  Though the book was a loose retelling of Cinderella, I still found quite a few twists and turns in the book.  The way Cinder and Kai get to know each other is also really sweet.

This book could have easily taken on too much as there are a lot of things going on: potential romance, cyborg societal status, spreading illness, political conflict and a science fiction, but Meyer blends it beautifully that never felt forced.  The book definitely ends in a cliff-hanger though, so be prepared to commit to the whole series!

Warning: Contains some violence.

Rating: 5 stars!
