Today Nothing Happened

Summary:

"Today Nothing Happened" is a journal comic that was started as a project in the author’s Getting Published and Self-Publishing class. They were to draw one comic a day, for 28 days, mostly so that they could make a minicomic and website out of them; however, she enjoyed the project so much that she decided to keep it going for as long as I could.

Even when things seem ridiculous, remember: this is a journal comic. That means there's truth in every page. (Summary and cover courtesy of author’s website)

Review:

I was first introduced to “Today Nothing Happened” by Jennie Breeden, the author of “The Devil’s Panties” journal comic, and I am so glad that she linked to the website.  Shazbaa has such a good talent at capturing the hilarity that comes out of normal everyday interactions.  From the inability for any group to make a decision on where to eat to the pop-culture obsession of the moment, her perspective is so incredibly relatable.

The webcomic “Today Nothing Happened” has been completed for quite a while, but I go back and reread it every once in a while when I need a pick me up.  I know Shazbaa is now working on her newest creation “Runewriters”, but I have to admit I hope “Today Nothing Happened” comes back at some point in the future!

Rating: 5 stars!
