Review:

“Quidditch Through the Ages” was just as wonderful as I was hoping it to be.  It’s written as it were a true library book and the foreword really made me chuckle.  This book has much more content than the “Pottermore Presents” series that came out recently and all of it is fairly new to me.  There are references to some of the topics in the series, but otherwise we learn a lot about the history and development of Quidditch in the wizarding world.

One of the other interesting touches throughout the book are the first-hand-accounts from wizards in newspapers and letters.  This, like many aspects of J.K. Rowling’s works, gives the story a depth that otherwise would have been slightly dry.  Highly recommended to all Harry Potter fans!

Rating: 4 stars!

Who should read it? Harry Potter fans who want to read the book that’s referenced so many times throughout the series!
