Review:

This was a fun read!  This book was the screenplay (as opposed to the Hogwarts Library Book) and after seeing the movie I couldn’t find any differences.  Reading the screenplay was enjoyable and really gives you a sense of some of the subtleties of what’s going on in the movie, but it doesn’t have any major differences.

I really enjoyed getting a little more insight to what America was like at the turn of the century since the original Harry Potter series is set all in the United Kingdom.  Much like the first book in that series, this one felt like a preview to a concept that will be expanded further in future releases.  Still recommended, but remember it’s a screenplay!

Warning: Contains violence.

Rating: 4 stars!

Who should read it? Harry Potter devotees or folks who won’t be seeing the movie.
