Review:

Be forewarned: As mentioned in the review of “Goblet of Fire” this book is when Harry is in the land of angst for a good chunk of it.  Don’t let that deter you, however, because Hermione (and even Ron to some degree) are willing to both encourage and cut Harry down to size when he needs it.  I personally love seeing Hermione call anyone out since she does such a good job.

In the “Order of the Phoenix” we get to know even more about Harry’s parents’ backgrounds and what kinds of things they did after graduating at Hogwarts.  The relationship between Harry and Dumbledore is strained and yet at the end of the story we find out so much more about why Dumbledore has hesitated to share more before.  There are a lot of small moments that build up to a huge event towards the end of the book, but I’ll leave the details at that to avoid spoilers.

Warning: Contains violence.

Rating: 5 stars!
