Review:
This was a scenario that I have to round up the rating of the book, but when I finished the series I was so mad. Although I was mad, I also have to give Sanderson credit because I would not have been so annoyed if he didn’t get me invested in the story in the first place. That being said, I think this book was entirely too long for me. The world-building was amazing as ever, yet the repetition of information and multiple debates among the main characters as to what to do and how it relates to previous events.
The originality of the series cannot be denied and the ultimate outcome really was intriguing. I wasn’t expecting the twist and almost threw the entire series into a different genre than I associated it with, which is not something I was necessarily thrilled with. I will definitely try Sanderson books again in the future, but I think I have to take a bit of a break first.
Warning: Contains repeated violence.
Rating: 4 stars!
Who should read it? Only those who have read the other books, it’s super confusing otherwise.
