A Will and a Way

Summary:

Pandora McVie’s life is tied up in knots. In order to respect her uncle Jolley’s last wishes, she’s stuck spending Christmas isolated in the Catskills with Michael Donahue, the cobeneficiary of her uncle’s will. Jolley was a matchmaker to the end—and apparently for some time beyond. The infuriating Michael is hard to live with…but what’s harder still is not falling in love with her nemesis. Review:

Ok, this one had a lot of potential and I was digging the reverse mystery….but the love interests call each other cousin.  No, they’re not related by blood and if that’s your kink, then I guess huzzah for you, but it was extremely distracting and not my cup of tea.  It wouldn’t have been so bad if they hadn’t regularly brought it up.

I won’t lie, I kept going with the book because I really hate giving up on a read, but the story still overall was a three-star and with the cousin thing I had to drop it to two stars. If you are a Nora Roberts devotee and really want to have a revisit to her first books, have at it, but I’m not sure its worth it.

Warning: Contains sexual content.

Rating: 2 stars!

Who should read it? Folks interested in the kink mentioned above?
