Review:

I like the “Shopaholic” series book a lot, but I have to say this if my favorite Sophie Kinsella.  For whatever reason, everything about the book resonated with me.  I believe I ultimately finished the book in two sittings; and then was quite upset when I had to come back to reality.

Sadie is extremely feisty and prompts Lara into defensive feistiness to protect her lifestyle!  The two of them spar themselves into friendship and Lara is all the better for it.  I enjoyed being transported to a different era and seeing the culture in the form of clothes, music and drinks.  I definitely found myself trying new things at the bar when I finished!  I’d highly recommend this as a fun beach read.
