Review:
This was a book filled with adventure from the beginning. Sienna is no wilting flower, she kicks butt and stands up for herself when no one else will. I was surprised how quickly she branched out at the beginning of the book; it was very refreshing. Schreffer is also not afraid to provide the harsh realities of life. I enjoyed that the writing didn't dance around the damage that The White created. She did a great job balancing the detail without it becoming too much (as Game of Thrones can often be!).
My only complaint would the book felt like it was a little chopped at the end. There are clearly going to be subsequent books and I was left hanging. That is fine, I just wish there has been a little more of a real ending to tide me over until the next book. That being said I am certainly going to continue the series! This was one that had me glued to the book until the very end.
Warning: contains violence.
Rating: 5 stars!
Who should read it? Adventure fans who are willing to start another series.
